JC's Guide to Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom (JC's Guide to WDW) Overview
This guide is a run down of the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. I give a bit of insight into what each attraction and eating destination are really like. Everyone wants to maximize their time in Orlando. Here is an example of how this guide can help you decide what is worth your time and what is not. An attraction's description from the guide:" Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress- A 20 minute nostalgic trip through 4 generations as we see how technology and progress have changed the lives of an audio-animatronic family. Originally created for the 1964 World's Fair. It then traveled to Disneyland and in 1973, the Carousel of Progress was closed and moved to Orlando where it reopened in 1975 as Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress. Why is this relevant? Well, many guests find it dated and a little boring. Long time fans find it charming and part of Disney's legacy. I find it very entertaining and think it's worth doing. It's a great place to go during peak crowds due to it's unique design. The seats rotate around the outside of the circular theater so the audience moves from scene to scene as the upbeat theme song plays you along. This allows for an almost constant loading and unloading of the audience. "
There are a lot of guide books out there for visiting the different Orlando theme parks. This is one is unique in that it only covers one park at a time. Why is this better? Well, this guide has been specially formatted to work well and be easy to read on e-readers such as the Amazon Kindle. Other, more expensive, "complete" guides, are just too large and unwieldy. It's not easy to flip to a certain park like it is in a paper book. The e-book format lets us separate the parks out so they are far less confusing and you are only paying for the sections of the guide you will actually use.
